OWWA Scholarship 2025: Application & Benefits
The OWWA Scholarship 2025-2026 is now open for applications through the official OWWA Scholarship Portal. The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) is offering financial assistance to children and dependents of active OFWs. The students can apply online for the scholarship and check all the details including eligibility, benefits, and required documents.
Through this scholarship, selected students will receive yearly financial support to help them complete their college education in the Philippines. If you are eligible, make sure to apply before the deadline.
OWWA Scholarship 2025 Online Application
Students who are dependents of overseas Filipino workers can apply for the OWWA Scholarship online. There are two main types of scholarship programs available:
- Education for Development Scholarship Program (EDSP)
- OFW Dependent Scholarship Program (ODSP)
The scholarships are available for both incoming 1st-year college students and those currently enrolled in 2nd to 5th year.

Types of OWWA Scholarship
EDSP (Education for Development Scholarship Program)
Who Can Apply?
- Children or siblings of active OWWA members
- Must be currently enrolled in 2nd to 5th year in college
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be single
- Age should not be more than 30 years
- GWA must be at least 85%, with no failing grades
- Must be studying in the Philippines
Scholarship Benefit
- Financial assistance of PHP 60,000 per year
ODSP (OFW Dependent Scholarship Program)
Category 1 – Incoming 1st Year Students
Who Can Apply?
- Children or siblings of active OWWA members
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be single
- Not more than 21 years old
- GWA must be at least 75%
- Monthly salary of OFW should be USD 1,000 or below
Scholarship Benefit
- Financial assistance of PHP 20,000 per year
Category 2 – 2nd to 5th Year Students
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be single
- Age should not be more than 30 years
- GWA must be at least 75%
- Monthly salary of OFW should be USD 1,000 or below
Scholarship Benefit
- Financial assistance of PHP 20,000 per year
Required Documents
Applicants must prepare the following documents:
- For OFW:
- Copy of valid passport (bio/data page)
- Proof of income (OEC, payslip, employment certificate with salary info)
- For Dependent:
- School ID or valid ID
- PSA Birth Certificate or Baptismal Certificate
- Proof of Grades (Form 137/138, Certificate of Grades, TOR)
Note: Final and complete documents must be submitted upon confirmation by the OWWA Regional Welfare Office.

- Select the scholarship program (EDSP or ODSP).
- Enter your details:
